PolDeC’s
Capability Statement
PolDeC’s
relevance stems from its ability to inform on and explain
international development policy making and programming at
the national level and therefore organize and mobilize civil
society towards achieving the policies.
PolDeC’s
resource and documentation center also provides technical
assistance to advocates and institutions in addition to
offering research consultancies under this program.
PolDeC
was originally set up in July 1999 as The Homebuilders
Foundation and was subsequently registered with the
Amuwo-Odofin local government council of Lagos State.
The organization has since evolved from a primarily health
care concern to an all embracing development initiative that
is involved in policy analysis, research and documentation
as well as gendering policy and development initiatives.
